The overall objective of the Project was “to improve  policy  and  legislation processes at the central level in view of accelerating Serbia’s preparation for EU accession and to improve the current system of legal harmonization and approximation with EU legislation, to support the  development of national legislation aligned with the acquis, and to ensure  proper implementation of the legislation, including the necessary by-laws and enforcement mechanisms.
